Follow-up Comment #2, bug #46056 (project octave):
A use case for real clearing is e.g. when you need to copy long output to
clipboard and want to easily find its beginning. In Konsole, e.g. I'd press
Ctrl+Shift+K to clear and reset the terminal before running the command giving
the long output I expect. But with current Octave GUI I have to carefully
scroll up until I notice the empty screen left by `clc` command. If I somehow
miss it, I may get extraneous lines of previous output.
