Follow-up Comment #17, bug #47606 (project octave):

At least it didn't break the --enable-windows-64 cross-builds I usually make.
Octave-4.1.0+ on Windy correctly invoked the 64-bit JRE.

Hopefully this weekend I can try a 32-bit build.
