Follow-up Comment #107, bug #41699 (project octave): The VBS script also sets up some things like the exec path and the TERM environment variable. Can we do all of those things in the Octave binary itself? Is there a way to hide the console as well? I don't think we can avoid having a console (yet) because of the way the terminal input current works on Windows systems by mirroring the Windows console.
