Follow-up Comment #4, bug #48296 (project octave):
Wouldn't an easy workaround be to page_screen_output(false, "local") in demo?
This is already done in e.g. pkg list -forge, __run_test_suite__, and menu.
Lachlan, I know I argued against your patch proposal to turn on paging for a
certain subset of commands, but I see a big difference between turning _on_
paging when the user has requested it to be off, and turning paging _off_ for
one or two commands when the user wants it on because it would break something
or cause confusion.
