Details:
In class org.octave.ClassHelper.java
which is vital for java integration into octave,
methods castArgument has a superfluous argument:
class of object.
This is shown in the new documentation.
For fixing this, I provide this patch which adds docs
and makes the problem more visible.
As a next step I would like to upgrade from java 1.3 to 1.4
which allows assertions.
That way, we can better test.
Then I would like to simplify and clarify the implementation.
