Follow-up Comment #8, bug #49214 (project octave): (from Hartmut) * to question in comment #1 : see Philips comment #5 * to question in comment #2 and #4: the Octave "rename" command works fine on both hidden and un-hidden files, also on filenames beginning with a ".".
