Follow-up Comment #18, bug #50189 (project octave):

Is "reset" ever called when running "sphere (64)"? That is not what I would
expect.

I think it is directly operations on txt_renderer objects that should be mutex
protected. If I do that in graphics.cc, see attached, I am then unable to
trigger the crash.
