Follow-up Comment #18, bug #50234 (project octave):

Ive got some changes now that compiled build-gcc 6.3.0 ok - its currently
compiling native-gcc, so may work.


To get a --with-gcc work, we may need to implement something similar to the
plugins that mxe.cc is using and would be better for testing different
versions at least.
