Follow-up Comment #23, bug #48195 (project octave):

@Pantxo: thank you for looking back into this. Just tried your patch on
openSUSE with nvidia drivers and it seems to work fine: the sombrero plot from
a comment below and the demo. The content of the figure is also captured if it
is set to "Visible" "off" or if the window is masked by another one or is
outside the screen area. I will try and test on other linux platforms but it
might take me more time.
