On Linux when importing  .m script Octave hangs;
memory bloats; Octave uses all computer memory and
eventually computer crashes or stops responding!
All that when importing a simple .m script file.

After long experimentation,
As it turns out this happens when .m file
is coded with Dos style line ending /cr /lf
This .m file comes in examples Matlab code from the book.
Every example I tried causes same crash.

Workaround I found is to convert .m file from Dos to Unix coding style.

I consider it's a bug. the program should not crash
when importing files created in Dos or Windows.
