This concerns the video package 

A call to aviread such as:

  vidFrame = aviread(videoFileName,frameNum);

yields the same result for frameNum=1, frameNum=2, frameNum=3...up to
frameNum=9. Only when frameNum=10, a new frame gets loaded(the actual frame
10). It is almost like aviread discretizes the framenumber very coarsely?

My videofile is a *.mp4 recorded at 30 fps.
