Follow-up Comment #5, bug #52933 (project octave):

I haven't tested your suggested code, yet, Avinoam. But could you base your
code improvements on the "stable" branch of the image repo? I think this is
currently better than the "default" branch, because the fix to regionprops bug
#52926 is not merged to default, yet.

As soon as I find the time, I will also look into the behavior of your
suggested code improvement.
