Yes, the patches are spread about.  That is why I'm pointing out Bug #53392 is
ready to go, in hopes of getting something rolling again.  The reason for the
multiple patches is that I think we have a general philosophy of making
changesets atomic in the sense they address one bug and not, say, a dozen bugs
in one fell swoop.  That makes for better "tracking" in the sense that when it
comes time to address down-stream peculiarities that always seem to exist
across multiple p;atforms, the users can point to more granular changesets and
say, it's changeset abc123 where things stopped working for me.  It also makes
for easier review (provided of course there are the resources to do such
review in light of the avalanche of bugs).
