Follow-up Comment #108, bug #53006 (project octave):

OK.  I've downloaded the latest stable branch to get up-to-date.  Testing the
search feature a bit, I'm going to guess that folks don't want the Ctrl+F to
toggle, but want Ctrl+F to jump back to the search window, i.e., Ctrl+F always
means go to the search window.  Either Torsten or I can make that change easy
enough.  As an example, check out the TortoiseHG (thg) search footer.  It has
a "close" button.  In fact, all those features can be implemented, and the
find() routine returns a boolean so that one can put up a dialog box "nothing
found" easy enough as well.
