Follow-up Comment #12, bug #53744 (project octave): Thanks everyone for your responses. Mike >> version ans = 4.2.2 >> __have_feature__ QT ans = 1 >> __have_feature__ QT4 ans = 0 >> __have_feature__ QT5 ans = 1 How do I get the exact octave version? OS 3.13.0-141-lowlatency #190+7.0trisquel2 It appears I can upgrade the OS to 8.0 should I do this and see if it fixes the issue? Ctrl+a gives just an a. None of those control sequences work they just give the letter. Ctrl+v does paste and Ctrl+c does exit the command. ~/Desktop$ qmake --version QMake version 2.01a Using Qt version 4.8.6 in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu Dan, When I do apt-get changelog octave | less Err Changelog for octave (http://packages.trisquel.info/changelogs/pool/main/o/octave/octave_4.2.2-1~octave~trusty4/changelog) Temporary failure resolving 'packages.trisquel.info' Err Changelog for octave (http://ppa.launchpad.net/octave/stable/ubuntu/pool/main/o/octave/octave_4.2.2-1~octave~trusty4.changelog) Temporary failure resolving 'ppa.launchpad.net' E: changelog for this version is not (yet) available; try https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/octave/+changelog There is no difference if I use sudo. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?53744> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
