Follow-up Comment #6, bug #53984 (project octave):
IMHO, it must be fixed as I told on the first comment.
- If a problem is found, skip it and update the next package.
Or, if you like a more robust system, all packages must have a flag
"dependency". So, each maintainer must add all dependencies to be processed by
"pkg update" on the beginning of the update.
