Follow-up Comment #20, bug #54176 (project octave):

Changing 


!define PRODUCT_KEY "Software\\Octave-$VERSION"


to


!define PRODUCT_KEY "Software\\Octave-$OCTAVE_VERSION"


in makeinst-script.sh.in gives again the error:
"there is another Octave installation with the same version"

What about my previous proposal to set the stable version to
4.4.1- and when it will the next version it will be changed to 4.4.1 (and I
will have to uninstall 4.4.1-)?
