Follow-up Comment #5, bug #53712 (project octave):
I suppose, you have configured an external editor in linux.
Cascading and tiling by the menu actions are of course indented for few files
only. For many files, the desired layout has to be arranged manually.
Several tabbed stacks at a time are not possible with mdi subwindows as far as
I know. I will have a look at the issue regarding the same file opened
multiple times.
