Follow-up Comment #13, bug #54405 (project octave): Interesting, "test io.tst" works for me. This is with cset parent: 25707:39fd627b2c5d tip Emit an immediate error if size of an octave_stream object is invalid (bug #54405). Platform is Linux, x86_64.
