Follow-up Comment #27, bug #54622 (project octave): This is almost surely in the post-processing. I just tested on Windows and I get to this code text = text(! strcmpi (text, "NA")); # Remove valid "NA" entries if (! isempty (text)) output.textdata = [output.textdata; text(:)]; endif The contents of text at this point are "NA\r". On Linux, they would be just "NA".
