Thanks Pantxo, yes your suggested patch to make the includes conditional looks
like it will probably solve the problem.

I was suggesting the attached change instead, but maybe the screen object
needs to be the screen that the Octave window is actively on, not the main
screen, is that right? I was suggesting to simplify and remove the need for
the QWindow object at all.

I don't think anyone is trying to use Octave with Qt 4 on macOS now, so I
don't think it matters until someone cares to look at it. I'm just looking to
make sure Octave still builds with Qt 4 at all. I think it's obvious we should
encourage people to use the latest version of Qt 5 available for best results.
