Details:
In the command window if I use the up arrow to go to previous line, if it is
"very long" (usually when it wraps?), then pressing the home key to get to the
beginning of the line doesn't work. There is still a part of the line shown
before the cursor. However, if I edit it as if the cursor is at the beginning
of the line, it works. As an additional complication, if continuing to use
arrow keys to go through the history past a long line, the beginning of that
line stays displayed at the cursor, and needs to be ignored.
