Summary: Ctrl+C closes emacs instances open using "edit" in
cli mode
                 Project: GNU Octave

This only happens in cli mode (i.e. --no-gui(-libs)). I have "emacs" as
default EDITOR. If I edit a file using the "edit" function, a new emacs
instance is open in a separate window. Now, if I come back to the octave
terminal and press Ctrl+C, it'll echoe "^C" at the prompt and close the emacs
window I was working on *whether or not it had been modified*.

This bug does not qualify as a crash per se but we are doing something very
wrong such that emacs quits without proposing to save your data first. Maybe
we are passing the interrupt signal to emacs somehow?
