Details:

I have a monitor set up with a laptop, and when I expand the gui to full
screen, the bottom half of the command window (but not the editor window) is
whited out so I cannot see the text. This does not happen when I open it in
the laptop monitor, only the external monitor.

I suspect the cause is to do with the difference in height between screens.
When the window is not in full screen mode, the whiting out happens only when
the the window height is stretched past approximately the height of the laptop
screen, and the height of the whit out area is about the difference in
heights.

Additionally, when I start typing in the command window, it moves the height
of the cursor to just above the whiteout area, as if it was the bottom of the
window.

In the attached picture, I have enough lines to go down to the bottom. You can
see the cursor where the bottom line should be.
