Follow-up Comment #2, bug #54738 (project octave):
Yes this still happens in 5.1.0.
For example, if I type in or paste in
x=linspace(0,1000,10000);y=sin(x/500)+4*sin(10*x/500);figure(1);plot(x,y,'r','linewidth',2);xlabel('time');ylabel('value');
when my command window isn't wide enough, so that it wraps to the next line,
then pressing the home key appears to not take it to the beginning of the
line, but press the space bar key and the rest of the line changes to show
that it is at the beginning (with garbage before the cursor).
