Follow-up Comment #21, bug #55937 (project octave):

@Mike: I can confirm that your patch fixes the issue. With Sundials 2.7
installed, I get the following warning at configure time:


configure: WARNING: SUNDIALS libraries do not provide an API that is
compatible with Octave.  The solvers ode15i and ode15s will be disabled.


and the build completes successfully (without ode15i/s).
