Follow-up Comment #7, bug #56232 (project octave):

Maybe the problem is not in the computation of C-C, but shouldn't be the macro
SPARSE_SMSM_BIN_OP_1(R, F, OP, M1, M2) in liboctave/operators/Sparse-op-defs.h
performing that operation? I would think so, but it is not. Where is the code
which computes C-C? And what is the purpose of SPARSE_SMSM_BIN_OP_1?
