Follow-up Comment #6, bug #56267 (project octave):
if you look at what javaaddpath does in comment #2 it turns out it does the
right thing. It checks with the OS or the exact case.
Whether there are other checks that make sure the file name matches I don't
know.
Anyway I'm out for week.
