When plotting images using imshow()the aspect ratio of the images is
maintained at the array dimensions of the image. This makes for lots of
potential iterations when developing code and inspecting outputs of commands.
Whilst it is always possible to go back and explicitly state the axis
boundaries, this really just masks its dificiency.

The issue would be readily addressed by enabling the corners of a plotted
image or any figure for that matter, to be dragged to a new dimension within
the Figure window; as when resizing any window within a window. Those new
boundaries would then persist when zooming etc.

Also, the lack of a save to clipboard feature from the Figure window contents,
either via menu or via a right mouse button, is puzzling and seems a
significant omission.
