Follow-up Comment #11, bug #57464 (project octave): @Markus: I have made a complete new built with your patch applied. It is awful slow. But i can confirm the problem is solved and the MWE as well as the streamribbon is displayed correctly. As i have seen earlier during debugging for example fvc (face vertex data) is called at least 3 times. it looks that something like a netlist (similar to what a mesher creates for a finite element analysis) is created there from the vertices given to patch () and written to idx and vert. but why 3 times? the first time it is in a so called "2d" mode. or is this a gdb artifact? it is somewhat beyond my scope but sounds crazy enough to spend a whole day just stepping from _go_patch and see what it is happening in this mysterious graphics.cc. this will result most likely in more questions than answers but maybe there are also some findings - who knows ;-) _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?57464> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
