Follow-up Comment #37, bug #57591 (project octave):

I haven't found a "no-extras" buildbot that crashed with that error so far.

The only one I found with a crash was this one here:

Please help improve Octave by contributing tests for these files
(see the list in the file
/scratch/buildbot/workers/jwe-debian-x86_64-2/no-extras-debian/build/test/fntests.log).

But that one looks different and has probably been fixed in the meantime.

Also I haven't found a Fedora buildbot that crashed with that signature. (The
ones mentioned in some of the comments here are due to bug #55225).

If I correctly understood yesterday, the Debian workers use Xvfb for plotting
with the "qt" graphics toolkit while running the test suite.
Could that be related? Does Octave use a different code paths if the
framebuffer is virtual?
