Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #58004] [octave forge] (io) xmlread.m makes Octave crash

Follow-up Comment #19, bug #58004 (project octave):

In my case the crash seems to be happening on the second invocation:

octave:2> pkg load io
octave:3> javaaddpath ("./xml-apis.jar" );
octave:4> javaaddpath ("./xercesImpl.jar" );
octave:5> t1
octave:6> t1
fatal: caught signal Segmentation fault -- stopping myself...
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Where t1.m is a code from comments 17. On one occasion the octave
just hang w/o crash or returning to command prompt. had to kill -9 it.
Anyway, backtrace it attached.
This is on Centos8.1 with the hg id 2396ee754ce8 (stable).

Dmitri.
