Follow-up Comment #1:

Thanks for the report and the fix.
Octave 4.2.2 is no longer in development. Re-targeting to the current stable
branch which is Octave 6.0.90.

This looks like a typo to me. See also the Mathworks documentation:

Fixed on the stable branch which will eventually be released as Octave 6.1:
