Follow-up Comment #1, bug #58684 (project octave):
Yes, this seems wrong. Currently it only seems to work for integer shift
values.
Also the Octave "imtranslate" function needs to be rewritten in general.
Octave has this function since 2002, and in 2014 Matlab introduced a function
of the same name as well. These functions are not compatible at all,
currently.
