Thanks for the shout-out, Kai!
My goal for Tablicious is to have full API-level Matlab compatibility,
including readtable() and related I/O functions. They're on the TODO list -
https://github.com/apjanke/octave-tablicious/issues/49 - and as soon as my day
job quiets down a bit, they'll happen.
Feel free to try out Tablicious, and if there are any features you'd like to
see added to it, drop a bug report on its GitHub issue tracker.
