Follow-up Comment #74, bug #57591 (project octave):
No, the test suite runs in one copy of Octave, so you are right, this change
is unlikely to have an effect on those crashes.
But for creating the figures when building Octave, we do run multiple
independent scripts, so I think the patch does help to avoid those problems.
