Follow-up Comment #90, bug #57591 (project octave):

Markus, all four of my buildbot worker systems have 30GB swap space.  Rarely
is more than a few 100MB of that used, as far as I can tell by watching the
systems with top from time to time.

Three of the systems have 32GB RAM, the other (oldest one) has 16GB.

I executed


sudo sysctl vm.overcommit_memory=2


on all four systems.
