Follow-up Comment #38, bug #59173 (project octave): For the remaining issue, I think something like the patch in comment #4 is the best that we can do at the moment. If we were able to use C++17, we could try to separate the -L flags and use `std::filesystem::path::lexically_relative` to get the path relative to the ${prefix}.
