Let the patch be for version 1.2.0.9 only: I patched upstream (upcoming
1.2.0.10) so the patch won't be necessary anymore.

WRT the copious output: yes, that's a feature ;-) please keep it.

WRT sparsersbtg : that is internal stuff not meant for general use (is a test
generator).
I cannot reproduce that error -- must have something to do with 'sprand' on
Windows.. What's the output of 'sparsersbtg ([1])' there ?
The bug must be trivial to fix: up to you if you want to open a new bugreport
for it.
