Update of bug #60859 (project octave): Status: Need Info => Fixed Open/Closed: Open => Closed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #4: Seems like there is a potential for unexpected results here. But, from the point of view of a developer, having the LHS fixed does make it easier. Matlab does allow assigning of integers to sparse arrays. I'm not that bothered about implementing it because I think this is probably a low-probability coding event that can always be solved by casting to double on the part of the programmer. Marking the bug as fixed since the issue with floats has been dealt with. Up to you whether you want to also implement integer assignment. Closing report. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?60859> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
