Follow-up Comment #37, bug #60882 (project octave):
I should clarify that "x ++ + 3" evaluates to 3 when x is originally 0. I
neglected to mention the initial value of x. In general it evaluates to x+3
overall, and increments x as a side-effect. This behavior is actually
consistent with C++ and Java, so might not be wrong though it is ill-advised
to write such an expression in production code.
