Update of bug #60984 (project octave): Release: 6.2.0 => dev _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #12: I almost forgot about this. While it still isn't as tangy on Windows as it is on Linux, a performance improvement by a factor of about 3 is a step in the right direction. I pushed a change that sets the locale to C while loading double and single matrices in real and complex in ASCII format here: https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/7c494a811cc3 We can leave this report open in case someone comes up with ideas for further improvements. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?60984> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
