Follow-up Comment #5:
Closing this for now, as it is not a bug in Octave and there has been no
discussion for 2.5 months. The only major Linux distros that have adopted Qt6
so far are Arch Linux and Fedora Rawhide, both of which are rolling releases.

distros adopt it we can migrate Octave and test Qt6 at that point. For
