Follow-up Comment #11, bug #62321 (project octave): Hmm... you're right about the Fortran external library code already doing the scaling so Octave doesn't need to. I am attaching a patch to remove that duplication of functionality for zairy and cairy for anyone who wants to review and test it. Once I have a few known good test cases I'll add some BISTs for the airy function in besselj.cc.
