Follow-up Comment #13, bug #62552 (project octave):

That's still not quite it. Binary operators are only affected if the command
is a "bare" binary operations. Something like this is still ok:

>> a = 1; b = 2;
>> c = a +b
c = 3

But `a +b` (without the assignment) is not.
