Follow-up Comment #47, bug #61172 (project octave):

I have NOT succeded to reproduce such a "borderless" Octave GUI on my 2
monitor setup under linux. (Octave 7.2.0 self compiled from official tar ball,
x11, gnome 3.26.8 under Ubuntu 20.04.4 LTS).

What could be different with your setup? Could you maybe give details of your
monitor setup (how many, what resolutions, what arrangements next to each
other)? Is the behavior reproducible on your side?
