The package hasn't been released lately but the installation error you're
encountering has been fixed in the development source. See this thread on

Installing from the head of the repo, rather than from the released tarball
seems to work:


pkg install
https://github.com/apjanke/octave-tablicious/archive/refs/heads/master.zip
