Did you rerun "configure" ? The installation is controlled by the
SOURCES variable in the Makefile and the Makefile is created from
Makefile.in at the time of configuration. Therefore if you didn't rerun
configure, the SOURCES variable is not updated and the colormaps won't
be installed...
