Zooming doesn't work for me on a Debian system with 3.2.0, 3.2.2, or
3.2.3-RC2. But toggling the grid does work with all three versions.
I don't know whether zooming with the mouse is suppsoed to work with
the version of gnuplot I have (4.2.5). It does work for me when I
start gnuplot outside of Octave and plot a funtion. I'm not sure
whether 4.2.5 can zoom when data comes from a pipe, as Octave is
sending it now.
