All,
The emacs directory in Octave, which has contained out-of-date octave mode
scripts for several years, has been removed in changeset
10856:dea165ff6d74. Its presence, and distribution in tarballs, was confusing.
For coders with an existing Mercurial repository, you will need to re-run
autogen.sh to rebuild the Makefiles.
